Matthew Huff’s honors to date include his single “Back Again” featured on his debut Album: Strong (2010), which landed him a Top 40 hit (#39) on Music Row Breakout Chart and #20 on Power Source Top 75. The follow up single, As Time Goes By, hit #51 on the Music Row Breakout Chart and #9 on Power Source Top 75.
Matthew’s single “This Is Our Home” (2014) was written two days after devastating tornadoes hit his home state of Arkansas. All the proceeds from the sales of this song are going to relief efforts.
Matthew Huff is involved with several charities and highly supports organizations such as Team-Keegan, All Children’s Hospital and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He also created his own scholarship which each year gives a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior from his Alma Mater, Mammoth Spring High. The Matthew Huff Scholarship is designed to motivate students to not only dream the dream, but step out and pursue the dream.
Growing up in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas on a thousand acres of family land, where dirt roads twined and mingled their way through the hills of north Arkansas, didn’t give Matthew Huff many opportunities to shake hands with country music stars or even semi stars for that matter. The small town did give Matthew a wealth of real life knowledge, background and experiences to draw from when writing music. “We dream and pursue, as we achieve only after we fall. Life can be a long hard road, but you wake up each day and keep going. God gives us talents and they deserve obedience to step forward and use them in positive ways.”
In 7 short years Matthew has played over 500 shows from California to Florida as well shows in the UK, building his fan base to an international level.
